Memo to clients in China, Russia, Israel, Africa and Europe:

Dickinson Cattle Co, LLC, has been an exporter of Texas Longhorn semen and embryos since 1988 to a total of 28 countries outside the USA. Each country has regulations for import, which we adhere to 100%. As each country adds additional enforcements we will continue to comply if at all possible. Some countries are developing regulations which are impossible for compliance and this is unfortunate for buyers in those difficult countries.

Europe has a new regulation that every cattle breed association must file, pass a number of requirements and request to be added to the list of European approved "breeding bodies." This process has been completed over several weeks. Cattle registered or who plan to be registered in the ITLA are in full compliance.  The following approval was just received:

I'm pleased to inform you that the International Texas Longhorn Association has been added to the list of breeding bodies in accordance with Article 34(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1012.

Regulation 2017/717  is also an EU requirement for trade or entry of embryos of purebred breeding animals. All imports from Dickinson Cattle Co, LLC will be accompanied by this properly completed certificate. Please record this for any government requests needed.
